MSU Bears vs Louiville Dec 17 8PM

Tough game for the Bears is an understatement. I'm really just hoping we can keep it close and see what happens. If we are hitting on all cylinders offensively we are tough to guard so hopefully that's the case tonight.

Pitino did pay the Bears a nice compliment saying "It will be the best offensive team we will face this year outside of North Carolina. They are really terrific". Probably overstated on his part but still nice to hear.

That quote is certainly different than the MSU team of last year.

This game would be tough enough if it wasn't on the road. We should learn some things about the Bears tonight with regard to talent and poise. If both are there, they should be right in it with a chance to win. If one is there, they will probably hang for a while and slowly fall behind. If neither are there, they probably won't be in it long.

I think if either the talent or poise are there to hang in this game, that is a really good sign for MSU. If both are there, even in a loss, my Lusk-o-meter is taking a big jump.

Good luck. Hopefully enough folks can keep turned away from rooting against WSU on ESPNU and give MSU a look on the Deuce.

I want to see us hang tough tonight, but by no means do I think we will win this game...Fun night for the Valley with 2 National TV games going!

Huge opportunity for the Bears tonight. Albeit unlikely, a win tonight would really give them an excellent chance to be in the at-large discussion in March.

Absolutely. A MSU win in this one would be a game-changer for the Valley this season, and possibly a program-changer for MSU. Would add some national legitimacy to the top of the league.

I'm not much of one for moral victories, but any sort of a hard-fought game from the Bears is, I think, a very good sign for Springfield.

Just be in the ball game late. That's all I want to see. Hope they hold their own and don't get blown out. Anything more than that would be awesome.
