MSU just ran into a better team tonight, nothing they can do about that, just come out and play as well as they can in the 2nd half, that's all they can ask to do. Louisville is pretty good.

It's not what I expected. Didn't think we would win but I thought we would compete. We just didn't.

Really disappointing. I still like our talent but we played like we were totally in awe of a marquee program.

It's one thing to run into a better team, which we did. It's another to just simply get out hustled and show a lack of heart. There really is no excuse for giving up 20 offensive rebounds and to repeatedly let guys drive coast to coast and not get back on defense. I really don't know what I was expecting but I know I wasn't expecting to win and I wasn't expecting to play like that.

Now that we have that behind us and the college basketball country can view us in the same terms as Cornell, Hartford, and UMKC, we need to move on and finish the non-conference with only 2 losses. Like Arginut said, everyone would have taken that back in October.
