ISU-R Middlebrooks suspended rest of season

Its called being a student athlete, you're a student first. These athletes who do not understand this idea do not deserve to play for their schools plain and simple. Its really not hard to keep good enough grades to be considered eligible to play.

We are shorrrrrrrrrrrt on post depth... Reggie Lynch rolled an ankle last night and is questionable for the DePaul game... luckily we have 10 days off until the first MVC game @ MSU. But even with Reggie, we are very short on depth... this hurts... bad...

Mainly academic related? When the academic related part is ineligibility, and there is something else, that's not good.

Also not good: Apparently the University is still making these kids take class. That doesn't bode well for certain other individuals attempting to become eligible to play for ISU.

well if you have people who cannot play taking up spots on a roster then it prevents you from filling them with intelligent kids who could actually play
