people are over rating the Sycamores, we have one good win on the season, over Notre Dame. All our other wins have either been over D-II teams or low majors. And those wins have not been convincing wins. I would guess this is how it will play out

UNI 11-7
Indiana State 10-8 (we'll have several inexplicable losses once again this year)
Drake 9-9
Evansville 8-10
Illinois State 3-15
Bradley 2-16

Thursday in St Louis will be "Illinois Invitational" day this year

one post season NCAA bid for WSU only from this conference, no NIT bids, maybe a few XYZ tournament bids for places 2, 3, 4

I hope you are wrong on the standings. That would be very ugly for the Valley. The second place team with six losses - oh boy, not good.

I am not sold on anyone other than WSU at this point, so I think 2nd place is gonna have quite a few losses.

Looking at the Valley outside of WSU, Indiana State appears to be the clear favorite for 2nd. They've had some tough losses, but they just look like a good basketball team. MSU might not be too far behind, with everybody completely healthy.

The rest just doesn't look good. UNI looks anemic (supposedly they were going to play uptempo this year). evansville is proving who they truly are. Drake is interesting..

Things can change come on conference time.

I'm gonna swap ILS and Evansville in my predictions, so move ILS to 6th and put Evansville in 7th, saving the state of Illinois from sweeping the Thursday games.
