You don't remember Salukitalk...err... Valleytalk, do you?

Seriously, I think this thread is also a reminder for certain fans of certain schools just where their place and room for talk is.

Being in the Top 10 is kind of a big deal. If you don't want to partake in it, then don't click on it.

Baller, I remember valleytalk very well. I also remember being one of the more reasonable Saluki fans there.

I apologize, I guess fans should be stroking off to this as it is probably one of the last times we ever see a Valley team that matters. As soon as the big football schools decide to blow this whole system up, we will all be competing for a D2 championship.

I saw some GREAT BARN BURNER games between SMS (now MOST) and SIU in the late 50s and early 60s in old McDonald Arena at SMS. Standing room only (5200 plus). Big crowd of fans from SIU followed their team to Springfield. When the fans and the SMS pep band cut lose I swear you could see the arena roof and sides expand and contract like a bellows. Great, memorable BB.

Saw many great BB games in McDonald: NE MO State (now Truman State), SE MO State (I think now in the Ohio Valley Conference), CMSU--still D2, plus lots more!
