Agreed, but they had a late collapse and returned almost everyone. They have the double threat of Odum and Arop which cause match-up problems for a lot of schools and have Gant and Cummins as good supporting cast. There's some size and depth that comes off the bench as well. Combined with a Valley that is floundering a bit, there's no reason not to like Indiana State. Drake, MSU, and UNI are right there as well. Tough to separate those four right now.

Gee, thanks. I don't know how I forgot their nose-dive. I would have thought I'd mentioned that ...

They returned everyone from a team that was 16-8 and looked like the best team in the conference prior to their nose dive. A team that swept UNI, beat WSU on the road, beat Creighton by 19, Miami, etc. they crapped on themselves by the end, but they were an NCAA at large team through 24 games. Assuming they'd progress the next year while returning nearly everyone is logical.

for the 3rd straight season (after the NCAA team from 2011) expectations are once again high for a senior laden ISU, but it's difficult for us ISU fans to get too excited because of our epic collapses the past 2 seasons (11-12, lose 9 of last 16 MVC games) (12-13, lose 6 of last 8 MVC games). This is Lansing's last chance to keep this group fit and motivated for an entire 18 game MVC season. It's gonna be interesting to see if he's able to do it, even in a down year for the MVC overall
