You can lose a lot of money using comparative scores, but the Aces beat IUPUI by only six on the the road. Is Drake 19 points better than the Aces? I hope not.

You know the conference is sucking when we are using IUPUI as a measuring stick.....

DU led by 31 with about 6 minutes left.....I'm guessing it's been a lot of years since Drake has had a 30+ point lead on the road.

Looks like Blake Danielak didn't waste any time getting back into game shape. 10 points and 9 rebounds in only 14 minutes after missing the previous 8 games with mono.

Would have been even uglier for IUPUI if Rich Carter hadn't had an off game. Drake, as a team, really didn't shoot all that well (41.2%), and missed a lot of easy shots. Fortunately, it didn't matter.

I've been very impressed with what Gia has done with Drake. He's getting a TON out of Carter, and added significant contributors in Danielak, Caird, and Daniels. Jensen looks like a player down the road and I know they have a nice class lined up for 2014-15.

41.2% and win on the road?

THAT is impressive.

....and win by 23. I think that means that Drake did everything else (other than shoot) very well.

Giacoletti has these guys believing in each other and believing in the system. He puts guys in a position to utilize their strengths. I know that sounds extremely basic, but it simply hadn't happened at Drake over the previous five seasons.
