I present the Bradley Gargoyles, who, due to a 6 game losing streak, have fallen:

- 122 positions from opening day in the KenPom ratings
- 114 positions in the rpiforecast.com end-of-season forecast.

At least the first is the biggest tumble in D1, and I would bet the second is very close.

And without a single injury or suspension that I am aware of.

We have had both, but neither have really had anything to do with this endless losing streak we are on.

Maybe this losing streak is a blessing in disguise. We should have beaten IUPUI, IPFW, and South Florida at a minimum and be 8-5 instead of 5-8. But with those horrible home losses, now us Bradley fans won't be distraught when we play-in again; it's more or less expected at this point.

Well it aint pretty.

But, Swop has had 2 nice games in a row and NW had the best game of his life. 2 Big positives and they were not on the court when the game was lost. IMO Walt got called for a charge that couldve went as a block and shouldve at home for Walt but again he gets no love.


XT has a bad ankle, Prosser has been out most the yr 4 games suspension and 2 due to injury.

The GF AB love fest is getting old.

AF supposed to be the answer at point can get on the court.

Best 5 IMO ....Nate Wells or Prosser at the 5.....TP who has been great all yr at the 4 ........Swopshire at the 3 and Walt at the 2 and Bell at the point.

I think I know who you're talking about, but trying to keep up with around 100 initials isn't fun.

Not sure what your beef is with Barnes. He's our best defender and the only one who puts out a consistent effort on the glass. He's among the conference leaders in rebounds per game heading in to league play. Not having a true PG has severely limited his offensive game, but he's the least of our problems this year IMO.

The Braves should be better than their current record, but what they're dealing with now is (I think) one of those pesky intangibles. Bradley hasn't won all that much lately. You have to go back to 08-09 to find a team more than 1 game above .500. Winning is an attitude and contagious. You have to expect to win if you're going to win very much. Bradley looks like a team that is waiting for the other shoe to drop right now and that's not going to instill much confidence up and down the roster. Usually, these aren't one day or one game fixes.

Barnes is not a better defender than Bell/ Wells/XT.....But Ford said it so it must be true! He doesnt block shots....cant jump. Cant shoot. With his wing span he should be able to shut down most SF/3's. He should get his hands on more balls to and HES NO LEADER!

I have yet to see the Braves play this year, but the above statement doesn't make any sense. Pickett averages 7.2 boards at the PF position in 31 mpg. Barnes averages 6.5 caroms at the SF position in 31 mpg. Hardly "much better." Meanwhile, Wells (who plays center) averages 1.0 rebounds per game in 3.7 mpg. That would come to 5.5 rebounds in 20 minutes. In 12 minutes against South Florida, Wells had 4 rebounds (a career high). Wells' career high minutes is 15 at WSU last year where he nabbed 1 rebound.

Despite Cotton being a good rebounder at the SF position (5+ per game), he is continually out rebounded by our power forward and center. I would not make a case for Cleanthony Early as being a much better rebounder than Cotton when they clearly play different positions.

What game are you watching? Nate Wells got eaten alive inside last game and while XT has potential he fouls every 2-3 minutes he's in the game. Wells is lucky Geno didn't yank his ride when he got here. Since he didn't, we are only working with 12 rides since Nate won't leave even when Geno tells him he will never play.

I think we've identified an agenda-driven poster here with the sheer mention of Nate Wells in a serious capacity. I'm sorry but Jim Les is never coming back and most of what he left was horrible.

Bell is terrible at just about everything. His foul rate is ridiculous also. You need to watch the games.
