Since the author addressed this to all MVC members, I thought it appropriate to deliver it to this fine forum.

Happy New Year!

Looking at the responses, it would seem that WSU fans are not very fond of Lutz.

Lutz thrives on stirring emotions, which is another reason I knew many of you would enjoy the article.

Interesting conversation on MoVal from Wichita Sports Talk radio KFH (Lutz, Hertl, and Assistant Baseball Coach Kemnitz). A lot of discussion on the MoVal and the importance of a strong league in order to retain WSU and/or HCGM.

Starts at about the 9:30 mark and lasts over an hour.
Ensure you visit the December 31st podcast.

The stronger the MoVal the better it is for WSU.
Makes we wonder if WSU advised the MoVal league they were shopping around to leave the conference and thus that conversation influenced the league from not even visiting ORU. It seems the entire league has become fully centered in Illinois. Not good for WSU.

You're going to have to explain this to me like I'm from Evansville. Trying to make WSU an angry shock of wheat?

Sorry.... Guess it won't make sense unless you listen to the podcast linked above.

I guess we will start to find out tomorrow night. I went up and watched the Saluki's play Austin Peay and I didn't think they looked all that bad. The Salukis mounted a spirited come back and ran pretty well at times. They missed Key free throws at the end, just missed winning. Austin Peay played Vandy to 2 points after playing SIU.

Will be fun to watch.

No doubt SIU could win, WSU proved that last year.

Just wish the bottom part of the league didn't linger in the friging 300's. It's lose/lose no matter the outcome of the game for the entire top half of the Valley when they play SIU this year. I'm rooting hard for Drake, Missouri St, Indiana State, UNI, and of course WSU this year. Really hope they separate themselves big time from the bottom half. I guess ISUr to some degree as well, and frankly am pleased they have their RPI where it is. Anything 225 or higher for a valley school coming into league play should simply not be happening and don't think that is asking too much.
