Sycamores SHOULD beat the Ramblers pretty handily. Sycamores might do the usual up by like 15 early, let Loyola come back within 3 then end up winning by 13. So I would say there's 2 questions that need to be answered. Will the Sycamores struggle and play down to the level of their competition? Will Loyola turn it around to be ready to compete in the MVC?

I would normally agree with all you said, but this time I think ISU controls this game from the start, gets a big lead, and does not let Loyola come back at any point during the game. Loyola hasn't played this group yet (unless we played them in a tourney up there?), so I think ISU wins easily. All the other schools are familiar with Odum and the rest of the team and how we play, I don't think Loyola is and for that reason I think we keep a big lead the entire game.

But watch, I'll probably be wrong and ISU will do the same ol, same ol'

Loyola collapses worse in the second half than the Trees. If the Trees struggle in this game it will be a long conference season for them.

Loyola can't miss and ISU can't play defense, tied at 24's. I thought we'd break away early and cruise to a win, but alas, the same ol' Sycamores are playing.

In fairness, this is the type of ball LU has played in the first half of games all year long. It's the team that I expected too show up all year long. Unfortunately, the 2nd half has been a killer for us.
