Why would that bother you or rub you the wrong way unless you were severely insecure and/or jealous?

If your team was ranked 8th in the nation, would you want anyone else knowing about it?

oh sweet jesus shut up! It was a joke! Apparently some bandwagon WSU fans like yourself cant take a joke. Yeah calling you bandwagon considering you joined at the apex of your programs history. Where were you 3 years ago?

WSU is a great team that is representing the valley well so far this season. This place would be much more enjoyable if you and a few others had a sense of humor. Or do you guys really believe that you will be going 21-0 against the valley this year??

You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?

If that was a "joke", that was, putting it mildly, a pretty lame one.

Strange thing watching the game is that SIU is not playing all that badly. They are shooting 47% from the field (5-10 from 3), have gotten to the line more than the Shockers, and only have 5 TOs. Usually that all would be a decent recipe for success, or at least enough to prevent a blowout.

But the Shockers have dominated in the paint (admittedly against an undersized team). SIU only had 8 rebounds in the half, and the Shockers have shot 58.6% from the floor. They've also gone 10-10 from the line and have even fewer TOs.

Credit SIU with a well executed offense! I thought they looked pretty good. Need an inside presence, but otherwise they are a nice team. Good luck this season!

SIU actually played very well. 54% against our defense is impressive.

Shox played on a mission in the first and coasted in the second half. SIU was a bit more intense in the 2nd half and went to the hole a lot more. O'Brien went off. Didn't see that coming.

We'll take the W (14th consecutive) and move on.
