ISU @ UE

ISU opens in Vegas as the 3.5 point favorite. TV is ESPNU at 7 CDT . I'll predict the Aces in a close one with some homer calls with free throws for the Aces win.

With the cold and snow blowing into Evansville on Sunday ,the Aces need some kindling and firewood

Cut Up the Trees....GO ACES

it's ISU at Evansville, we never know what to expect, could go either way?? Will it be a typical ISU game? Big lead, followed by slacking off and allowing Evansville to come back with a shot to win?? Probably

A post on the Aces board claims that no Valley team has a better home record in Valley games for the last two years, than the Aces. Only WSU has as many wins in the last two years. The Aces are much better at home than they are on the road, which is not unusual for a team full of freshmen, and sophomores, but after the last half against Drake, which was the worst half of Aces basketball that I have ever seen, I don't know what to expect against ISU. I do believe that the Trees, better not take the Aces for granted.

Don't want to speak for anyone else, but by my count WSU is 15-3 at home over the last 2 seasons (CU 2 years ago and ISUb and UE last season) in conference and Evansville is 14-4 (8-1 last year, losing to CU and 6-3 the year before losing to WSU, DU and ISUb)so that post seems to be false.

Also, EVERYONE is better at home than the road. That's not just for young teams.

Road wins are always hard to come by....especially when winning that particular game makes your season.

Shocks are 22-6 (.786 winning %) over the last 3+ Valley schedules, on the road.

Didn't the Aces also have Colt Ryan those last 2 years? Did he get the Grant Gibbs 6th Years Award?
[Insert snappy comeback]

My bad. That post includes the last 3 years, not the last 2 years. During that time period both teams are 21-6 in Valley home games. And that is correct, not that it means crap except that it's too bad the Aces have to play half their games on the road.

Hopefully the Sycamores have found their groove and understand that no team can be taken lightly. I like our chances in this one. Sycamores are 2-1 in the Ford Center if my memory serves me correctly. Syc's by 10.
