I feel very confident UNI makes a very strong push for 14ish conference wins and second place

Wow... Let's not get crazy. 14 wins is a lot.

I agree, there are a lot of tough road games to go but it's nice to get both the Evansville and road monkey off our backs. Should give us confidence going forward, now we just can't give any of it back at home.

And I don't think Shocker fans should have any concerns with being swept by Evansville this year. Heck Evansville may not score enough in both games against the Shockers to combine for more than the Shocks will get in one against them. Those games will be UGLY.

The league is bad.

1 loss to ISUb - just because it seems to happen
1 loss to WSU - likey to lose the second game as well
1-2 more random slip ups.

That gets UNI to 13-14 wins.

The league is REALLY bad

By starting out a conference season 0-3 and forcing out talented upperclassmen?

They could not accept their role, they were not good enough and Marty is building towards the future. Blake is the top Freshman in the MVC and will likely be POY by his senior year. This is only Mock and Balentines second year starting.

Cool, I heard the same thing 4 years ago about Ryan and company. They managed a .500 conference record one or two seasons...

I'm assuming FanofBB's posts are dripping with sarcasm?

Are there still Evansville fans out there thinking this team is going to win 23 games and finish 14-4 in the Valley?

Nice win by the Panthers.

I expect Saturday to be a VERY tough game against a hungry and capable Drake team.

Hey now! There's a pretty good freshman playing up north for Loyola. I don't think anyone will catch him.

Marty has led the Aces to more d1 postseasons than any other coach in UE history. Ryan led UE to 21 wins on one of toughest mid major schedules. You dont recover overnight after losing an All American all while trying to rebuild a program that had a winning tradition that Merfeld destroyed. We have only had the new state of the art Ford Center for a few years as well as our 5/3 bank practice facility. This is only Martys 7th year. Rome wasnt built in a day.
