What if Creighton was still in the Valley...

Could you imagine how exciting this hoops year would be? Arch madness could sell out. I think CU would win the league but it would be fun to see.

I think WSU would win...especially if Gibbs where out.

I will admit I am a bit disappointed that we don't get a rivalry type home game this year. As good as games against Tennessee, Bama, UCONN, etc. at home are going to be, I don't think they will replicate the atmosphere we can get for a Creighton game. St. Louis will certainly not be the same either, St. Louis is going to seem pretty dead this year. I remember 5+ years ago I would see fans from every school all over the place (except for maybe Evansville.) Last year I only saw Creighton and WSU fans. This year it will only be Shocker fans. As much as I love us Shocker fans, it just doesn't give St. Louis the same basketball-area feel that it had in previous years. This is not just due to Creighton leaving, this is due to everyone except WSU sucking. You're welcome, Elgin.

As for CU winning the league, even if Creighton was in the league this year, I would put a hefty sum of money on WSU winning the Valley. I wouldn't be opposed to getting them in a second round 2-7 matchup because I think we would destroy them by 20+ points.

There will be many more Sycamore fans there than in years past. If we finish 1st or 2nd in conf play, there will def. be ISU fans that make the 3 hr ride. Plus, we should get the majority of neutral fans for the championship game :D

That might depend on if WSU is still undefeated

What if Kansas, Louisville, Memphis and SLU were still members? Arch Madness would be super exciting.

It would not be the MVC. That's like MO, KU, OK, OSU, ISU, KSU, NEB, and COL still being the Big 8. Wish it were so but not going to happen.

How would it not be the MVC?

The conference was called the MVC when they were in it....I see no reason that would change.

and Creighton isn't in the MVC anymore. My post makes as much sense as the 1st one.

Because this guy doesn't know shat about the MVC. He calls himself a fan, but doesn't know the history of the conference.
