You appaear to have left Jordan Daniels off of your list of leading scorers. Maybe he doesn't have enough shots or games yet to show up, but he will. 15.4 ppg. 3.1 apg. 2.5 rpg.

Agreed on Daniels. He did not show up on Yahoo's stat list due to games played. I also think he will be penalized from making first team all-MVC due to his late eligibility status.

I am not sure if we end up with anyone on first team, but Mitchell would be my pick for us.

I agree on Mitchell over Tuttle, however when I ran Baker's numbers against Mitchell's, they were very even so I gave the nod to Baker due to a likelihood of a better finish in conference than UNI.

Yes Deon has been a little better than Seth, but the fact that Seth will probably lead the conference in rebounding I think will get him the spot on the 1st team.

The fact that Tuttle is a forward in a league that really lacks a plethora of overly talented forwards/centers is what would get him the nod. The MVC All-Conference team would be a Ben Jacobson 4 guard, 1 forward line-up if it truly wanted to pick the 5 best players. Mitchell might have a better year, but in comparison to all the other talented guards out there it will be tough for Deon to really separate himself and really push ahead of a Baker/Odum/VanVleet. As good as he is I don't think the odds are in his favor. It really has been a pleasure watching him come into his own this year.

It's a guard heavy league...and while I agree Mitchell should get serious first team consideration I doubt he will.

Mitchell leads the team at 13.3 points per game, lead the team in steal (16), second in assist (56...1 behind Wes Washpun for first), averages 3 boards per game and is shooting 48% on the season.

I don't know where those stats put him in the league but I'd assume relatively high.

The one knock on him is his A:TO at 1.5. Having said that Kwadzo's A:TO was around 1.8 and he was one of the best PG in the league during his time.

Wow...should have read page 2 before my post.... :P

Walt is first team no doubt and does not make BU worse or have a bad attitude!

3 Shocks make first team? hahahahahah

Early front runner for POY? I vote DJ from EU, This is not the best player on the best team award.

Whats the lowest PPG average a POY has had?

It may not be the best player on the best team award but it is close, Adam Emmenecker averaged 8.6 points is probably what you are looking for, and there is more that scoring to be a good player, Ballentine is far from the best player in the conference.
