It helps to think when evaluating players tho.

Clearly we should only look at box score numbers. Perhaps the best example supporting this method is the 2013 MVC All-Defense team.

Swap Ron Baker and Ballentine...we could do this all day

Would Baker out perform Ballentine? Ballentines numbers are real good! Where Walt is already atleast as good as FVV IMO WAY BETTER :) so give Walt, CE and Baker and he prolly gets 10 assists a game.

Also Prolly see more Baker vs Walt then FVV vs Walt. ;(

We all know Walt thinks he is the best thing since buttered bread and wants to go out on top and prove it! No better way for a lil walking tall moment then beating the shock at Koch and dropping 45 pts! ;)

Van Vleet is 2nd (maybe) to only Jake Odum in this league. Walt is a decent player but he looked a lot more comfortable and a lot smarter last season. He has been a train wreck this year along with the entire Bradley team. Heck, most Bradley posters have blamed Lemon Jr for the teams struggles. Doesn't sound like 1st team material to me.

Emmenecker averaged 8.6 ppg in 2007-08 when he was POY

Edit: My bad....didn't notice that achrist posted that info a couple of pages ago.

Posters have to have someone to blame.

Walt went through a lil slump but has been real good most of the time!

He will get snubbed probably just like he never gets a call! He has shot 69 Ft's in 17 games thats what? like 4 a game for a guy who gets fouled pretty much every time he has the rock or cuts w/o the ball.

Paul miller also won the award after averaging around 13 pr 14.

Adam Koch was 11.8ppg

I think the #1 thing that hurts Walt is he is playing point guard. He should be playing at the 2. He is more of a play maker/slasher/scorer then a run your offense type a player...actually he is Bradley's offense. That's why Odum and VanFleet got him beat.
