Epic and I mean EPIC choke job by the panthers. 17 point lead then looked like they had no interest in putting in anymore effort the rest of the game

There's the usual Valley RPI killer again.

Missouri State and UNI both doing their best to lose their top 100 RPIs.

Really thought this team got over the road hump. Crowd in Carbondale sounded very rowdy with the students back. They really helped out down the stretch
[Insert snappy comeback]

Panthers lose after leading by 10 with 4-1/2 left.

It's a strange year. WSU fans are rooting for any team that might challenge them for the championship. Need those teams to have quality records to put some credibility on wins in the league.

WSU doesn't need s*** from anyone this year. They just need to take care of their own business. Two losses or less and they are a top 3 seed. No matter what happens in STL.

Maybe. Depends on what other teams do. Having top 100 RPI wins in the Valley would be very important for securing a solid seed, or a favorable location. And who those two losses are to would be important as well. It's better to lose on the road to a top 100 RPI team.

A salute to Barry Hinson is in order. He shouldn't be beating anyone with that roster of "Mama's Boys" but he gets it done. Also has a conference road win already. Don't sleep on the Saluki's; they can bite you when you least expect it.
