Missouri State @ Indiana State 1/15

big game tonight for both teams, a banged up MSU squad visits ISU in Hulman Center. Will be interesting to see how MSU responds after the demoralizing loss to WSU the other night.

Starts at 7pm on ESPN3. Tune in.

I agree, I think this will be much closer than 10 points with ISU winning, similar to the game vs. Bradley the other day, I'm anxious to see what type of defense MSU throws at us and how we handle it (in preparation for the full court press we may see at WSU Saturday).

ISUB will win convincingly. MSU will not have recovered emotionally nor physically (Marshall out) from the WSU game.

We've got players capable of stepping up in Marshal's place. Thurman and Mvouika most notably. But will they? I think it will be a close one. Even though we lost the WSU game I think our guys get some confidence that they can play with anyone from that loss.

I'd like to see Mvouika start and see what he can do. He's been bothered by back spasms but hopefully he can go.

TRUE STOREY!!! Any ISUb old timers remember, I think it was the 1952 NAIA semifinal, when SMS (MSU) beat ISUb with only four players. SMS played the last several minutes after 2 players left early to go to NY Yankee spring training and 4 fouled out. 3 of the 4 on the floor were subs---off the far end of the bench. I think the baseball players were the number 6 and 7 guys. The most exciting game ever on radio!! Could not hear the SMS announcer over the crowd noise. Fans so excited one fell out of the Memorial balcony!

Hope tonight is as good a game---will root for the BEARS---but don't really care who wins.

Tough game for the Syc's....hopefully they are prepared mentally for this game. I think Missouri State will give the Sycamores a heck of a game and I think this one will come down to the last few possessions. My pick...Syc's by 2.
