Shockers and Sycamores ranked #1 and #2 in USA Today Mid-Major Poll.

Would it help to solidify the MVC as a two-bid league more if the Sycamores pulled out the win on the road and the Shockers returned the favor in Terre Haute or if each team held serve at home....or does it matter either way? The shockers could lose a few and still be a top 5 seed....so hopefully they only lose to the Sycamores and they both will have worthy NCAA resumes.

What is everyone's guess what the spread will be? I say the Shockers favored by 9

I was having this discussion with a good friend last night. He said his best guess was 9-11 points, and he follows this kind of stuff pretty closely. Home court advantage in NCAA Men's ball is roughly 5-7 points.

To me, single digits would be a pleasant surprise. The Shockers are ranked in the top 5 in the country right now. Playing at home. Undefeated. I know the Shox aren't a team who generally blow other teams out, but saying that these two teams are within 3-5 points of each other on a neutral court would be a HUGE compliment to the Sycs from Vegas.

*EDIT* - My best guess is 13

Closest game WSU has had at home is 9 points at that was at Intrust Bank Arena. Closest game at Koch Arena is 11 points. Average margin of victory for all games is 15.1 I still think it will be right around a 10 point game.

I think the Shox had a couple chances to blow some teams out and used it trying to develop their bench and give guys who don't play very much the chance to play. Marshall put in walkon's and the 10th guy with about 12 minutes left in the game against Bradley

Gonna be one for the ages.

A chance for the SYCS to really say something.

Spread......Shock - 11

The real thing for THE VALLEY is that the Sycs or Shocks are not one and done in the dance.

I think the game in Terre Haute may be the better game. Going to be a good atmosphere at Koch as this will probably be the best team that plays at Koch this year.
