Will this be their first lost? Can the Sycamores beat the Shockers at their place again like last season? Will the Sycamores and their 5 double figure scorers (Only team in the country) continue with their hot shooting? :Yea!:

Who the NBA scouts looking at for Indiana St? Odum and Arop?

Yea......while also keeping tabs on Gant and K. Smith. I know for sure the Pacers have seen them, and I think the other scout was from the Clippers (dont quote me on that one tho) Idk what scouts will be at this game.

Lot of scouts have been at WSU games looking at Early and Baker

WSU plays better on the road than at home

WSU press is meant not to limit possession, but to limit the time a team has to run their offense in their possesion to get a quality shot. Forces a team team to take a lower % shot. Meanwhile WSU increases the possesion by forcing TO, fast breaking on missed shots and getting to the line (clock not moving).

looking forward to a great game Saturday! Glad this one's on ESPN2! Shockers definitely have the better team, I just hope ISU can stay close and have a chance to win in the end. I am curious as to how we'll handle the WSU full court press, we usually don't do well against those type defenses. So I am sure we're practicing that this week.

I seriously doubt WSU presses to force a TO directly from the press. They usually press and fall back. This forces a team to have a shorter shot clock which can force a bad shot or a turnover in the half court defense. This is the press they normally use, but in occasion they will press to try and force a turnover directly from the press. ie Bradley and MSU when they were down

Really looking forward to this game. Clearly the two best teams in the Valley. This is going to be a tough environment for the Syc's. I'm really hoping for a win but trying to be realistic and hoping for a close competitive basketball game with some good national exposure for the Valley...I think the Syc's have a much better chance at sneaking a win in the Hulman Center as opposed to this one at Koch but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Go Trees!

Some may not agree with this...but I think K Smith could be a pro prospect if he continues to develop as well as he has thus far. Definitely THE most underrated player in the Valley IMO. Great scorer and incredible athlete. Will need to make a big impact on Sat if the Sycamores want to have a chance to grab a win in Wichita.
