Take them Shocker goggles off and pick ppl from other teams as well? That was the point of this thread to see what ppl would come up with. Otherwise this would be a mood point unless you never seen other teams play wich is very unlikely.

Interesting that you have Walt and Baker to run point.

Lots of good wing guards in this league BTW. Also, I am still yet to see LUC play, so I'm not sure where Milton Doyle and Christian Thomas fit in.

I like your lineup. Doyle is a a good wing but everyone's picks are better than him even though he is doing alot as a freshman. Thomas is good too but again everybody's picks are better.

I would take Fred Van Vleet slightly over Jake Odum, simply because I think FVV brings a competitive intensity to winning that Odum doesn't. I think Odum might be slightly more talented.

Baker is the best all-around SG in the league -- which is why WSU is now 33-3 with him in the lineup. Cotton behind him as the best defensive guard in the league and probably one of the three best in D1.

I'd take Early as the starting SF, which is the position he'd likely play in the NBA. Everyone but Bradleyfan1 seems to have taken him as the PF in their teams, but I don't think there's any reason to put him at the 4 if you don't have to. He's the best option at 3 in the league, and the only player likely to play the 3 in the NBA. Then Manny Arop.

Justin Gant, then Tuttle at PF. That's an awesome 1-2 punch at the 4.

Center is the hardest position. Reggie Lynch/Chadrick Lufile, I guess.

Stinks not having someone from MoSt on there. I have Marshall as the third best SG, and Gulley as the third best SF.

I agree with everything you said except the intensity about winning that you say Odum doesn't bring. Remember he has been hampered the last 2 seasons by a knee injury and a foot injury and still played 30+ minutes. I think I give Odum the edge still. What VanFleet is doing now is what Odum has always done. But VanFleet has been very impressive. There's nothing different about their game besides the way they score and Vanfleet shoots better/has a better jump shot. Never understood how Odum shoots from his hip...but hey it works and as long we keep winning I won't complain. lol

I don't mean that Odum isn't competitive and doesn't have intensity. I mean that FVV is the most competitive person I have ever seen play for WSU. Although no, what FVV is doing isn't what Odum has always done ... FVV is leading the 18-0 #5 team in the country =) I don't think that is a very measurable stat, but Van Vleet and Baker have an intensity about them regarding winning that I don't think anyone else in the conference has.
