Coach Jake = Coach Lowery?

Someone is smoking that wacky tobacky again.

As someone who is on PN pretty much daily. I'm pretty sure know one ever said that. Even the crazies on there wouldn't say that.

There is still sanity in Cedar Rapids.

I cannot imagine anyone comparing Coach Jacobson's accomplishments to those of Coach Lowery.

Personally I like the Minnesota kid Marv Singleton. I hope he catches his footing and finds his niche with the Panthers.

He comes from a great bball program in MN, he was a critical player on a team that won multiple 4A State titles...

I always said if he was 2 inches taller he would be a Minnesota Gopher.

His biggest obstacle is that he is a 6'6" power forward, but hey so was Barkley.

Anyways I wish this kid well, he has the work ethic and pedigree to be a solid player, I think he is a junior now, so I hope he comes along quickly or maybe look to transfer to a school that could really utilize his last year of eligibilty.

Actually he is a 6'6 guard for us. We try to use him a bit more in the post than other guards but he mostly plays as a 3
[Insert snappy comeback]

Yep.

His first two years on campus he showed brief glimpses of what he could do at the 3 but clearly needed time to develop in that role. He wasn't/isn't going to be used as a 4. He isn't Lucas O'Rear and won't be made to "fit that mold". He is needing to grow into the mold more but we are seeing more minutes and more production out of him. He really needed a redshirt as a true freshman but didn't get it, sadly.

I apologize. My mistake. It was not intended.
