Eh. I still think you have a good team, but Wichita State is just better. I never thought Indiana State had much of a chance of winning this game in Wichita. The one @ISUb will be a dogfight.

I still think ISUb is clearly the second best team in the conference, and I don't think it's that close. But there's still a big gap between WSU and ISUb this year. Which is exactly what most of us predicted this year.

The difficulty for Lansing will be keeping this loss from beating ISUb several times, considering the problem with late poor play in past years.

Unfortunately Syracuse hung on over Pittsburgh. Still really hoping WSU is the last undefeated, with all of the hype and live look-ins that come with that.

This game went just about how I anticipated. The MVC other than WSU is so down this year. Overall I would grade WSU out with a B to B+ today. As a fan you can't complain about a good easy win, GO SHOX!!!

That is what you call a good old fashioned a** whipping sports fans. Congrats on a well played game Shocks. Hopefully we will at least be competitive when you guys come to Terre Haute...

I don't think this game was really indicative of the actual gap between WSU and ISUb. There is a sizeable gap, to be sure, but not 28 points worth, WSU's largest lead. You can bet this game had been circled on Gregg Marshall's calendar for a long time, and the atmosphere would have been rattling to any Top 10 team coming in. I'm sure Lansing has a big red circle around Feb. 5th on his calendar, too. If I were a WSU fan, I'd almost be more wary of a game like playing at UNI, which comes immediately after the game at ISUb.

Marshall doesn't have a calendar - he doesn't even know who they play next. He takes them one at a time.

Speaking of which, setting aside my own love for WSU and looking at this objectively ... I don't remember ever seeing an atmosphere better than that in the MVC. I've rarely seen one better as an ACC fan.

The alternating gold and black sections was extremely well done and came off great on TV.

How do you get the fans to dress in black or gold? Coordinate ahead of time based on ticket sales, give away t shirts??
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.
