If you are talking about Mike Stuart, then you are wrong about him.being the worst. He's probably one of the top 15 officials in the country. His post-season resume will back that statement up.

I am not very familiar with him. I just don't like an official being more worried about the crowd than the game. I did say my choice was Pollard.

I think the guys name who was my choice many years ago was Jack Savage. I have no idea if he was good or not, I was a kid. But he was my nemesis .

The three worst are Hal Lusk, Eric Curry, and Dan Crisman. Special mention also to Zelton Steed.

Pollard is just fine when he's not the lead, it's when he's the lead that he gets in trouble and tries to take over.

Another special mention for Steed. Forgot about him.

Because of the ref crowd complaints mention, I decided to look at who the refs were for the Wichita State - TCU game a few years back when the refs threatened the crowd with a technical because the crowd was chanting "these refs suck."

At WSU games, during a timeout they have a little game called "Where's Wu?". Basically, Wu Shock stands somewhere on the court and a blindfolded contestant attempts to find Wu using crowd noise. Usually the contestant will spin around slowly until the crowd starts cheering, indicating that Wu is in that direction, and then slowly walk that way.

I forget who the game was against, but one night, the contestant had a different idea in mind. Instead of listening for the crowd, he ran in a full on sprint in a random direction. Right into Eric Curry, who was standing next to Zelton Steed. And they were PISSED. If there was a good way to get crowd noise, though, that might have been it.

Gerry Pollard.

Mike Stuart is working his way up.

Tim Hutchison used to lead the pack but I don't think he refs anymore.
