Match your starting lineup against the rest of the top 5 starting lineups. Exactly. This is the Missouri Valley Conference. The 12th best conference in the country and the Shox OOC wins are not that impressive. The best win they have is St.Louis. A good team, but what other win should I be impressed with? Tennessee? Alabama? This isn't football and outside of Florida, the SEC is very good this year. There is a reason they are undefeated and people still don't have them on the 1 line. I've seen some still as low as a 3 seed. Enjoy the run, as you should, just understand you're still not even the best team in your state.

You strike Fear in us alright, Fear for your sanity and insecurity.

You're just making Indiana State's drubbing to WSU look even worse. But with your level of intelligence coming into play, this isn't surprising.

Wouldn't it really make more sense for DaTrees to acknowledge that WSU is a top-5 caliber team and use that rising tide to life their boat by saying that they had some good moments against such a wonderful team? Instead he chose to degrade his own team by degrading WSU, which appears to be better than last year's squad that handled Pitt, Gonzaga and The Ohio State University.

Trees, would you rather lose by 20 to the #5 team or the #50 team? From the sounds of you comments, you would be happier with getting embarrassed by the #50 team. Better check yourself.

Don't read the polls? We are what they say they are. Perception is reality and WSU is perceived as major program. Everyday there is national media talking about WSU. Only time u hear ISUB name mentioned is about the beat down they took.

There is a reason they are undefeated and people still don't have them on the 1 line. I've seen some still as low as a 3 seed.

U act like that is something we should be embarrassed about? When is the last time a MVC team was a 3 seed?

Then I guess that makes the State of Kansas as one of the best states in basketball.

Here is something for u to be butt-hurt about - ISUB is a senior laden team, this was to be their year to do something before they become Thursday team in STL. Which do u prefer CIT or CBI?

I wonder if FearDaTress thinks ISUb is a Top 100 team. He certainly doesn't think they're an NCAA tournament caliber team.

I will be rooting hard for ISUb except for the game in early February the rest of the way. Good luck.

Actually I never really talked "smack". I gave an opinion and commented on a few ppl's thoughts that I disagreed with. But I never downplayed or said WSU wasn't worthy of their ranking. WSU is good, although I dont think they are 20+ points better than indiana state. Sycs played terrible on O, and played decent D for 20 min. They ignored their game plan, shot too quickly, bigs couldnt handle the ball, etc. But give credit to WSU, they wanted it more and were agressive from start to finish. I did post on the shocker message board about matchups and shockers fans got a lil sensative about my opinion. But after the game matchups didnt go the way that I thought. (For example odum and FVV didnt guard each other.) With that said again credit goes to Shockers D and they're playing some damn good ball. Only @Cedar Falls and @Terre Haute are the only places left the shockers even have a chance to get beat. Other than that they are most likely to run the table. I just hope the Sycamores learned their lesson. Focus on themselves first, then Loyola.

Shocks played great. Impressive all around performance. Their fans are getting a little full of themselves, and who could blame them. 19-0! Real shame for them is that the valley this year wont give them a true perspective of where they stand nationally. I don't see them as a top 5 team. Offensively they are clunky at times and depth would be an issue against a top 20 team. They look to be a top 15 squad if you ask me. Top 10 at best.

This game was more about how poor ISUB performed. Lots of SR and JR on the team, yet they come out and lay an egg. Odum as a FR was more dynamic. This version of him relies on driving and praying for calls. Hardly notice him out on the floor for much of the game. Gant looked like a junior in high school, not so much a junior in college. After watching them some this year I think Moore is the only real post guy they have. Too bad he got in early foul trouble because the rest were incredibly soft . At this point I'd give the edge to UNI to be the team that defeats the Shocks this year. Their guards are quick enough to put pressure on FVV and Baker. Also no way Tuttle has another poor performance the second time around. He has been impressive lately.

It is amazing how lucky WSU is to catch all these games when their team lays "an egg" or shoots poorly. Maybe WSU have something to do with that?

It really is something. Everyone has their worst offensive nights against us.

We are just that lucky.
