Discuss the MVC hoops season here.

If UE could recruit rebounders our season, and this game, would look much different. MSU getting 10 offensive rebounds in the first half should never happen.

Bears lead 50-42 and the Bears' fans are feeling much better.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

Jaylon Moore has really gone backwards as the year has progressed. Looks totally lost on defense, offense and can't rebound.

Missouri St wins 64-61.
UE just isn't very good, the good news is neither are most of the Valley teams.
Congrats on the win Bear fans.

It was kind of an ugly win for us but it beats a loss any day. Gulley was the man tonight. Really think at this point he should be 1st team all conference. Mvouika didn't play nearly as well as last game but he was ok.
I really like Ballentine and the big soph center. Ballentine's offensive game is smooth as silk. Need to build around those two. Blake Simmons? I'm just not seeing even the potential there? He does play hard. But he has about the ugliest shot mechanics on his jumper that I've ever seen at this level. You certainly don't expect that from a coach's son.

A good win for the hobbled Bears.

To be fair not every coaches son is Doug McDermott. I've seen a fair share of coaches son's who had no business being on the team. Everyone remember Todd Lickliter? His boy had no business being in the Big Ten, maybe even D-I. Even if it was a bottom-feeding Iowa team.
[Insert snappy comeback]

Sure. But most coach's sons are very fundamentally sound. That's all I was trying to say. Nothing personal against Bake. I'm sure he's a great kid.
