Is this the worst the Valley has ever been?

I can't recall a worse year since UE has been in the MVC.

What year do you think the worse was?

It's absolutely the biggest gap between the top team and the rest. Probably since Bird.

It's all the Loyola/Creighton swap. This would be an amazing Valley season with Creighton. It's a very bad season with Loyola.

I agree, had Creighton stuck around one more season, wow! It'd have been great

When the top 2 teams aren't giving any wins to the mid pack. I think that is the biggest difference this season. Oh and Creighton swap them for Loyola and things would have been big time this year.

What about the middle teams like ISUb, UNI, etc? Can't really say they're either at the moment.

If ISUb and UNI were "middle teams," we'd be in great shape as a conference.

The 2/3 teams aren't "middle" teams. We'd have to have one or two better teams for them to count as middle teams. And that would be a very strong conference.

Yes, the Valley is terrible this year, but many programs are rebuilding and have new coaches, so I guess that is to be expected.

I think next season will be MUCH improved, it can't get any worse than this year.
