That is crazy athleticism. Cotton gets a lot of run for his defense and it is deserved buy my oh my that is a whole new level of offense.

I calculated it out on the Shockernet forum, and if Cotton was 6'3" (he's not) and his man wasn't jumping (he was), Cotton's peak on that dunk would have been 41" in the air.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he has a max vertical of 44" or more. His head looked like it would have been at the rim if he didn't bang it against the backboard. Absolutely amazing to do that with that type of contact.

Shocker fans shouldn't be surprised that he is one of the best athletes in the game (see his block against Tennessee), but this might let be the first time the nation gets to see it. A lot of casual fans still think Wichita State lacks athletes simply because they don't play in a power conference, so this might a lot of casual viewers see the light.
