Its pretty obvious that WSU only has two more chances to get beat. Road games in Cedar Falls and Terre Haute. That's it, they aren't the typical very good Valley team (i.e. UNI 2010) that somehow manages to lose a game they shouldn't (@ 2-16 Evansville). Wichita can do so many things offensively that an off night won't kill them.

I actually think they are better than last year, simply because VanVleet is just a huge step up from Armstead.

Matchups are everything in the Tournament, but a repeat Final Four wouldn't surprise me at all...

Well, all I know is this - the Shockers lost twice last year to the Purple Aces and once to the Doggies.

I hold my breath on all road games and some home games.

He's far more consistent offensively, and turns it over a lot less. Armstead was the better defender, though.

I don't think either of those games are really a threat. They don't matchup with the shockers at all.

7 games in, WSU has only played 2 vs the current bottom 4. They also hold home court beatdowns of #2 and the two teams tied for #3 on the books.

Indiana State has played 4 against the current bottom 4. They do have 3 road wins, and the roadie @WSU out of the way.

IlSU has to feel good about their chances at 3rd. They have 4 wins, all against the bottom 4. But they also have the two games against WSU out of the way, and still sit in 3rd.

UNI has played a more balanced schedule, but have the look of a team that may not pick up another road win. Interested to see how they stack up with IlSU. I'll guess pretty favorably at home and pretty horribly on the road. UNI has played one more road game than IlSU.

Feel bad for MSU. Just not sure they are going to have the horses for a Top 3/4 finish with the injury issues this year.

Bradley has some wins. They have played 3 road games against WSU/InSU/UNI. All losses. But all out of the way.

Drake is reverse RPI-bombing the league. Thanks guys!
