I don't understand UNI. Maybe I overrate their talent. Maybe thats because they have owned Bradley. But I don't know how they lose some of the games they lose.

I thought Jacobsen did a bad job coaching last night. He never really allowed Washpun and Mitchell to attack together. For some reason he went with Washpun over Mitchell. I realize Mitchell had zero points but Washpun is a lot more lose with the ball and that showed on the key turnover late.

Does Mitchell have some "dog" in him? Is he hard to coach? Just asking. Jeremy Morgan is going to be a stud.

It's simple for Bradley. When Walt Lemon plays like a first team All MVC guy then Bradley will win some games and be in the hunt for 4th/5th place. When he doesnt, they won't. Walt completely and totally dominated the second half. UNI did a terrible job of forcing him to give the ball up and they don't have shot blockers to protect the rim.

Bradley's other guys made enough perimeter shots that UNI couldn't pack it in as much as usual. Freshman center Xzavier Taylor will be a very good MVC player as well when he figures out how to not foul so much.

Not sure what the deal is with Mitchell. He's maddeningly inconsistent and absolutely disappears at times.

He's a difference maker when he wants to play, that just doesn't seem to be the case all the time. He's also not much of a leader which is a killer when you're the Junior, 3 year starter at point guard on a team that doesn't have a senior that plays a significant role.

Mitchell has some bad games but last night was an outlier. I think something's up whether it's an illness or injury but that wasn't Deon Mitchell. He's played very well in MVC games up to last night and I expect that to continue Saturday
