The Valley office isn't bringing enough people, paying for enough tickets, buying enough beer for this to make any sense. Never has. But I digress. Not sure why this guy still has this job.

People where in the past buying enough of everything, but with SIU down and Creighton gone, it will be interesting to see how many people other than WSU fans are there this year.

Not enough. I'm sure the money spent by Creighton fans will be missed as will the tickets unsold.

The 400-500 that UNI brings will be the 2nd largest contingent. That's awful and sad.

I think it has to go to KC. Even just the newness of a new place will help attendance for 2 years until the league can get back on its feet.

You put it in KC will any fans travel to it besides WSU and MSU? Maybe some Drake fans

Only 90 miles closer to KC from Cedar Falls...I guess 500 or so is what UNI normally brings to St Louis correct?

What is the guess of the fans other than WSU that will be in St Louis this year? Does anyone have the final numbers last year of each school and how many tickets they sold? I know some people don't buy through their school.

It's been in St. Louis for 20 years and they still aren't travelling to it. Why keep catering to the teams that don't attend? So their 50 fans can have a short drive home after they lose? Pretty sure that the 50 fans that attend in St. Louis when their team isn't good will also drive somewhere else, because they are die-hard suckers like the rest of us.

I'm with you, but I guarantee on TV it will look like the games are being played in Wichita or Springfield. You wonder if they will go the opposite and put the tourney in Chicago to hopefully get more alumni of the Illinois schools knowing that some WSU fans will still travel no matter where it is.

There will still be only yellow in the stands if it stays in St. Louis. They will also get the added bonus of 15k empty seats. That has to look big-time.
