SIU bolts out to a 34-16 lead right away in the 2nd half. Sorry Shockers, we're gonna drop out of the top 50 RPI with this loss. Maybe even out of the top 100

39-21 SIU, 14:35 left, timeout ISU again, maybe we can pull a WSU & come all the way back and force OT, but this is ISU vs. a Barry Hinson coached team on the road, a game we've never won vs. Hinson.

ISU fans wondering once again if this is the usual ISU February/March collapse we've become accustomed to the past several seasons? Lose this and we have UNI on the road, then #3 WSU at home, so are we looking at a possible 3 game losing streak to fall back to the pack here?

Wow, the zone is bothering the hell out of ISUb. I'm watching it and SIU isn't playing particularly well, but ISU has shut down.

There was a play a few seconds ago that basically seems to sum it up. Goes down the court, and shoots. Misses, There were a number of blue shirts around, but the only 2 that seemed to go up were SIU players. (Who both got rebounds, and one of them made it.)

It would take an epic comeback at this point. I don't think ISU has the attitude to do it. Even the freethrows aren't going in.

And that intentional foul isn't going to help ISUb at all. That was just a bad play.

Looks like he hit him in the head, and then may have hit him with an arm/elbow. Upgraded to flagrant probably because of the arm.

43-26 SIU, we're halfway thru the 2nd half here in Carbondale. I think the Frisbee Dogs inspired SIU!!

What the hell kind of rims do they have at SIU? Two teams have combined for 4 of 23 on threes and 7 of 20 on free throws.
