Let me give you an idea just how bad this FT shooting is. The last time I shot FT's, it had been 26 years since I had touched a basketball. When I played, I was a PG without much shooting touch.

I went 4/8 on an outdoor court - and 3 were "nothing but net".

A guy who couldn't shoot - and hadn't played for nearly 30 years - hit a better % than the teams are hitting in this game.

SIU needs to spend more time practicing free throws. Shoulda locked the game down with 10 minutes left when they had a 20 plus lead. Looked good other than that. Congrats!!!

I think this was def a case of siu being a much better team then people give us credit for. We may not be wichita but we are not terrible with big wins over uni, and indiana state i think we will continue to improve. Which is generally true for the salukis in February.
