Highest the Shox have been ranked in the Coaches poll since 1965

Shockers haven't been this high in the coaches poll since Dec. 29, 1965. Spent two weeks at No. 2 after one at No. 1 that season in UPI poll

I thought politics would cause them to never get higher than #3. This is great.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

Rick Pitino championing the shockers on national TV the other night couldn't have hurt any perception within the Coaches/SID community.

He said that Cincinnati's defense was the best since the Shockers in the national semifinal game.

He also said something along the lines of "WSU, SU, and Zona are in a class of their own and we're trying to get to that level of play"

Would've been nice for Ben Jacobson to give ol' conference pal Gregg a first place vote.

What MVC coaches have votes in the coaches poll? What is the link for seeing how the individual coaches voted? Thanks!
