BH seems to be pretty good at coaching his guys up and getting them better during the season. At no time would I have predicted 5 conference wins with 2 on the road at this point.
When this sort of late-season turnaround happens at a school that is rebuilding with underclassmen, it's much easier to stomach. The hope becomes that the same team doesn't do it 3 straight years. Hopefully SIU's turnaround is a sign of a resurgence of the program. We won't know that until most of the way through next season. With a program in SIU's position, baby steps under a good coach is a good recipe for building a winning program. Grabbing a couple of road wins in league is actually a pretty big step. I'm glad WSU already has that roadie out of the way.
