BH seems to be pretty good at coaching his guys up and getting them better during the season. At no time would I have predicted 5 conference wins with 2 on the road at this point.

When this sort of late-season turnaround happens at a school that is rebuilding with underclassmen, it's much easier to stomach. The hope becomes that the same team doesn't do it 3 straight years. Hopefully SIU's turnaround is a sign of a resurgence of the program. We won't know that until most of the way through next season. With a program in SIU's position, baby steps under a good coach is a good recipe for building a winning program. Grabbing a couple of road wins in league is actually a pretty big step. I'm glad WSU already has that roadie out of the way.

This is an amazing valley season. Every team with the exception of WuShock is equal, and INST showed that they are beatable. Gonna be a great game tonight at Hulman. But after tonight I think it'll be...

1-WuShock
2- Sycs
3- Birds
4- Bears
5- Panthers
6- Dawgs
7- Sucks to BU
8- Aces
9- Ramblers
10- Dogs
Ready for Arch Madness

I still think that SIU will throw up some turds and will still be a Thursday team. If somehow they finish out of Thursday, Barry Hinson has to finish 2nd to Marshall for COY.

Mueller is the other deserving some praise. He has cleaned house and had a mildly successful season. That is not easy. Had Middlebrooks kept his act together, ISUr might be in 2nd place.

I'm a homer but with all the injuries Lusk is dealing with I think he deserves some consideration.

I think we can consider a few guys, but if WSU is undefeated, there isn't even a reason to vote on it.

Gregg Marshall is pushing for national coach of the year, not just Valley.

Oh, I agree I was more commenting on 2nd place. That is Marshall's spot barring a collapse.

Really? You are 2 games back of second and a Drake win is what is going to propel you to second?
