I'm VERY impressed with Beane in this game.

I've missed the last four games where he's been on such a tear. He's practically unguardable right now. Where has he been all season? He played 34 minutes against us earlier in the year and had ZERO points?

He's not just shooting hot. He's driving to the basket and blowing past the best defense in the conference repeatedly.

I don't even really remember Beane from his first game against Loyola, where he scored 15 kind of quietly. Torched us for 27 in the rematch, where we lost in OT.

For the first time this year I don't feel like a Shocker is the best player on the floor. SIU has been out hustling the Shockers most of the night, but they are wearing down. SIU is definitely within striking distance...
