5 star recruit Perry Ellis' short list includes Wichita St

Super 2012 recruit Perry Ellis of Wichita Heights has narrowed his list of college possibilities to six.

Six Division I basketball programs — including the three in Kansas — made the first cut of Heights junior Perry Ellis’ selection process Friday.

Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Oklahoma and Wichita State are the finalists, Ellis said.

“We’ve kind of had an idea which schools it would be for a while,” said Ellis, a 6-foot-8 forward. “These were the top schools that have been there and supporting me. It has been a long process.æ.æ.æ. They were the schools that came at me the hardest.”

Sorry...hadn't seen this...it's a thread regarding the recruitment of Ellis...nobody mentions Wichita State at all in their posts as being a threat to land him. It's just fans of the big boys posturing...Kansas and Kentucky fans mostly.

I was at the WSU vs. Tulsa game and perry was very close to my seats. In all honesty he seemed like he was having a dreadful time. I know he had just gone to the KU game where Selby hit the 3 to beat USC. i dont know if that made it less exciting but i really dont think he wants to go to WSU .
