If that were the case, the Birds win that game last night. If that were the case, the Shocks would not be undefeated. They would have lost to the Aces, and Salukis. Good, or bad, free throws are a part of the game, as are referees. And, most times, home teams are the ones that benefit.

And Evansville would have lost an additional six or seven games this year.

That is a dumb question. Why wouldn't a team foul until they have five guys left on the floor then?

Part of the game is to draw fouls ont he opponent.
1. they will eventually get into the bonus.
2. it might foul out one of the opponent's players.

That is just part of the game. Would you want your team to not foul out one of the opposing players.

Are you trying to say the team that is fouled wouldn't get free throws or the ball? That seems to be your argument from your examples.

I'm not advocating getting rid of free throws, just trying to show how much free throws affect the outcome of a game, and it's really stupid to blame referees if you happen to lose a game because of it. If we were to play by those rules, the fouled team would get the ball. Ain't gonna happen, so don't worry about it.

Not quite as dumb as your question. You wouldn't foul out everybody, but five players, because you might foul out a couple more.
