I just caught the end of the game..they were reviewing a possible flagrant foul.

Why was the last play not reviewed? Sort of nutty it wasn't, wasn't it?

Easy to lose when you don't block out.

There was nothing to review.

1. It wasn't a shot, this there can't be goaltending.
2. An inbounds pass can't count as a basket. If the ball goes through the hoop it's the other teams ball OB at the previous spot.
3. The review on Tuttles foul clearly showed they f-ed that call up from the start by not calling Gulley for molestation.

It was a shot, it was goaltending, it is non reviewable.

I realize Scheer's pass wasn't a shot, but it is permissible for the defender to grab rim/net at any time? Let alone when contesting the offensive player at the rim. Anyone know what the rule states?

One of these teams is superior to the other. I am not telling you which one, but one of them has beaten the other one twice this year.

Go ahead and show us in the rules where it is indeed a shot and goaltending. Especially since the ball wasn't even above the rim. Considering that you're the only person I've seen from multiple outlets believe that the refs intentionally screwed the Mighty and Superior University Bears on that play, I think the burden of proof lies with you.

Valley Fan, this is going from High School Rule book, but a player offensive or defensive can touch the rim/net as long as there is not intent for doing so, which I would say there wasn't on Tuttle's part, and as long as there is not shot being attempted, which there wasn't. There is nothing to enforce there the ball was touched the time ran out game over.

I will say this, Coach Jake should have put Buss on the inbounder to harass the pass though.

He may be a sore loser but the derogatory names probably aren't necessary.

In the officials explanation to both coaches, they said the shot was off in time, but that no one saw the goaltending. I owe no burden of proof and have thick enough skin to withstand some childish name calling. I stand by the fact that I believe MSU is the better team. If this site would allow me to post a picture I would be happy to provide you with all the proof you would ever need. Furthermore reciting a highschool rule book is about as dumb as some of my earlier statements. Per the rule it is goaltending, per the rule it is not reviewable.
