It's lunacy to think about a dozen other teams wouldn't also be undefeated playing their schedule. As Goodman pointed out, their only "quality" win is really SLU. But look at SLU, they are highly ranked only because they also haven't played anyone worth a damn. It's sort of the perfect storm for WSU.

I saw a prediction and they ran KU through the same schedule and the computers had them with two losses. If it is so easy every year, why don't we see it more?

This is incorrect speculation. Pick a team and run em through our schedule. No one is predicted to be undefeated. The teams must perform above expectation to win out on this schedule.

Does Syracuse go undefeated with WSU's schedule?

Does Syracuse go undefeated with WSU's schedule?

Probably yes. I'll go one further and say if Creighton was still in the Valley they would be undefeated and not Wichita St.

Syracuse couldn't beat a Boston College team at home with a 173 RPI and that was 6-18 coming into that game. Shows you how tough it is to go undefeated. Creighton I can listen to as there worse loss is at Providence which has a RPI of 60 and 17-10. Creighton his still lost 4 games though

Really? They'll play 20 games against better competition this year.

Total speculation. The only facts we do have is that the Shockers are indeed undefeated. They've defeated everyone who has agreed to play them. If other teams want a crack at them, let them step up in future seasons.

Going undefeated has less to do with schedule and being dominate than it has to do with being focused and consistent night in and night out. If it were so easy, somebody would do it every year. I'm getting sick of all the doubters pointing to our schedule. Every team has a few games a year where they just don't show up mentally ready to play. The difference is, this year, WSU has been able to overcome those days and somehow that just hasn't really happened yet. The closest instance is probably first half of the first Evansville game, but we are good at halftime adjustments and were able to come out on top. We may still drop a game before the season is over, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.
