First ever meeting between these schools, and only the 5th all-time meeting with an Ivy League school for Drake.

Should be a victory for the Bulldogs, but you never know with this team/coach.

He gets good recruits but he just doesn't seem to get them to play well.

Ru roh Raggy, is there enough Big Daddy Warbucks interest in the program to buy out a contract?

The rest of the Valley is really in for a treat when they see the Bulldogs this year. The last two years Phelps still had some Davis recruits who had at least had some coaching before Phelps arrival. This year it's all his guys, and they are clueless. This is the worst team to play in the Valley since...the Drake Bulldogs during Kurt Kanaskies first two years. I suppose they will win a conference game or two somehow, but somebody is going to have to play really bad to lose to these guys.

It's to the point now, where I truly don't know a single Drake fan who will defend him anymore.
