Loyola at Bradley (2/22/14)

Postby ptownbraves » February 22nd, 2014, 5:13 pm

Loyola (4-11) heads to Peoria to take on the Braves (6-9). Top storylines include:
- Bradley unveiling their new mascot, the Gargoyle. Fireworks promised.
- Can Loyola throw a wrench in the annual Bradley vs. Drake Thursday night shoot-around?

Loyola is a tire fire on offense in this game.

I'm not really sure if Bradley played solid defense or if Loyola is really this bad. Loyola went 1-18 in 3 pointers and had 23 turnovers, yet Bradley got out-rebounded by 10. If only Bradley could make more buckets, they are not terrible at stopping the score (2nd in the MVC in ppg allowed).

A tale of a bad half and a good half.

Defense was/is good. Molinari woulda been proud ;)

Barnes still shooting good.

Walt and TY didnt shoot well but Ty lead in boards 8 and Walt had 5 steals.

Almost 9000 came to see Kaboom! Thats its name right?

On to Tues! How many will come to see The Shock?

Lets win the NCAA championship Tues night and storm the court!

Id watch calling them bad.

You beat them by a total of 9 pts. In 2 games and may play em again.

Does the March 1 line-up of games look a lot like a prequel to Thursday night in St. Louis?

Bradley versus Drake and Loyola versus Evansville.

Bradley is likely to be the 7 seed and Drake the 8, but we'll see.
