Let's see who puts on a show on Tuesday.

At this point, trying to talk smack about a WSU game is just cute.

I look forward to Walt's 18 point and 7 TO "show."

Just defending my team after someone talked smack about them.
And that's how I believe BU will take this game tomorrow night - playing 40 hard minutes, backing each other up and playing for each other - who knows what can happen. Let's see how it's played out.

I respect the Shox and hope they go a long way in the NCAA tourney. I root for every Valley team in non-conference and post-season. Just believing that the Braves will be primed and save their best home game for last...to think that BU has NO chance in this game is ignorant.

I hope you understand it was good-natured "smack talk" on my part, as your buddy, fan 1, likes delusional smack talk. You are right, to say BU has no chance might not be ignorant, but to quote Lloyd Christmas "you mean there's a chance." ;)

Got'cha...a lotta BU fans thinking we get hammered in this one. I do pretty well picking Valley games, and I'm just calling an upset here as I believe the Braves have a lot working in their favor - their only chance of making it a season to remember - just as much as the Shockers to go undefeated, senior night, and 3 Brave starters who are not intimidated by anyone...yeah they're very inconsistent and not super talented, but they are fierce competitors...just hope they play smart...college hoops is unpredictable...before the Valley season, I tabbed this as their ONLY loss of the regular season...stickin' to it whether I look like a fool post-game or not.

What does Bradley have working in their favor for you to predict a Bradley win?

I just edited my previous post to include those factors.
Don't get me wrong - Wichita State will not underestimate the Braves - especially with 2 games to go for perfection, and they will be focused as always. But all it takes is being a little off (it's tough to be good for 30 straight games) and Bradley playing a little better than they have in most conference home games this season...won't take a perfect game, but they need to do everything well - they want this game badly...maybe not as much as Wichita St., but maybe just enough.

In addition, I have not had this unwavering gut feeling (since early January) about BU hoops for a long time...can't explain it, but I felt strongly that the Shockers would be undefeated to this point. I know that's not like...WOW! But it confirms that my belief was on and not to doubt it this time.

I disagree with you and it will take a near perfect game for Bradley to beat Wichita. The Valley has 21 team statistics it posts on its site and WSU ranks higher in each statistic.

I have respect for unwavering fandom. All signs point towards high motivation for your Braves in this one. I have no doubt we will get your best shot. This years Shocker team is on a mission and has to high of BB IQ to let anything get in the way of victory on Tuesday night. I hope and want BU to play their absolute best, because I want our game to be high level as well. It is that time of year to play like its tourny time.

Well here in Peoria we track a category you won't find on your fancy spreadsheets. It's called moxie, and Bradley's leading the nation. We're also 3rd in spunk, and 16th in gumption. Edit: And now 1st in intimidating mascots!

...and #1 in wishful thinking and humor.

Seriously, good comeback though.

You think this game will come down to a statsheet? on senior night? With all due respect, let it be settled on the court.

Stats tell you what type a team you are playing. Bradley is not a good team.
