I'm sure there are many, many more.

Most of those are dirrectly tied to their nickname...

but...

I happen to like Bradley's new mascot because it's unique and has local significance. Screw the detractors. And the protractors. But not the compasses, as that might be very painful.

Agreed. I love unique mascots. Cookie cutter "Wildcats" "Bulldogs", etc are tiresome. Always nice to see some new and interesting mascots.

Makes me wish Loyola still had "Bo Rambler". I don't think a homeless man as a mascot would ever fly in the PC world we live in nowadays.

Obviously they don't have a brave mascot because it isn't politically correct. Why not just go the whole way and just be the bradley gargoyles, i think that would make more sense.

Indiana State and Loyola don't have matching nicknames and mascots either. Have you b!tched at them too?

Yes.

Loyola REALLY needs to bring back their hobo mascot. It was incredible. No joke ... I want the Rambler back.

Maybe Indiana State could make a deal with Marvel to use the Groot costume from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie as their Sycamore mascot?

Trust me...we all do. Would be one of the most unique mascots in all of sports. Not very "PC" though. Our current mascot aligns with the heraldic shield of St. Ignatius of Loyola which is kind of cool and significant...but not as cool as a hobo!

Personally, I really liked the mascot last night. I really like the originality. Only downside, it is overly friendly looking, in a 3-year-old cartoon sort of way, perhaps it could look a little more edgy.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.
