NCAA tourney bid.

 :Yea!:

I watched your guard with 6 seconds left dump the ball off to the big man 18 feet from the basket. He pivoted nervously for 6 seconds then got off a terrible shot with no time remaining. This was after a timeout, not sure if I see ISUr winning much of anything outside of redbird arena this year. Things are looking up so don't take that as an insult but after watching saturday's game I can't see ISUr winning 3 in a row in STL.

You are right. That play and mismanagement of that 2nd half coupled with some other iffy coaching calls throughout the season, does not give me reason to be confident.

We have been playing better ball as of late, The ultimate optimist in me feels we will be hitting on all cylinders (coaches & players) and we will be playing our best ball this weekend.

Even if my optimist intuition is right, I think it would still be mentally tough to play through the refs, who probably are certain WSU is gonna win it all.

Kinda like how WSU got the short end of the stick against Louisville in the Final Four last season.
I was really upset for you guys, I thought the refs jerked you big time.

Seriously...are we all apparently 4 that we can't handle someone calling someone else unifart or wufart...? I'd bet I'm on the young side of this forum and I'm closer to 30 than 20 and it's really not that close anymore...

There were some quality information/talk in those posts

I just don't understand why there is no communication about why the posts are removed. Just a simple message saying "Hey, sorry for KC acting like a fool. Just ignore him and try to refrain from feeding the troll by calling him out on his hypocrisy and I'll-advised comments. Regards, [moderator]".

Why does it matter? Why does anyone owe you anything.

No body "owes" me anything.

However, none of the posts contained racial slurs, homophobic slurs, the "f bomb", the "c bomb", or any other "magic words" from what I read. I may have said "s***", I honestly don't remember.

We, correctly, put KC in his place for being an idiot when it comes to all things MVC - though his name claims he is an MVC fan. About the worst thing that was said was "Come back when the NAIA championship is over".

I don't like message board censoring - especially when the board is 98-99.9% males between 30 and 60 but I "get it". However, if you are going to censor it would be nice to send a PM to those that were censored and explain why.

If, at our ages, we can't handle a couple "coarse" words or stating someone is an idiot...then...well............

Yeah...

Games 1, 4, 5 and 9 will go down to the wire.
While I would love this...I just don't see anyone beating WSU.

Though, UNI is the 1 team that could do it.

Eh... a few less mistakes, before that call, by the Shockers and it wouldn't have mattered. All the props to Louisville's pressure, clutch shooting, etc. That call didn't cost WSU the game.

I remember feeling like there was more than 1 call that made the difference.
I feel it was the way the game was called overall that was hard to overcome.

I give u props tho, that's a winner's attitude.
Focus on the things you and your team can do to overcome .

I hope that's how the birds approach this tourney also.

It is sad that I would be excited if my team made it to Friday.

God I hope we make it to Friday...at least we'd be in the night session so I can relax all day and pretend like we're going somewhere!

So true. At least we can hang our hat on the fact that we outlasted 5 other teams down there :o

There was a swing in momentum in the last 10 or so minutes of the game. The fact that we didn't get a couple of calls that we thought we should have gotten just sealed the deal. This was much like the WSU comeback at MSU earlier in the year. Credit Louisville for the win! They wanted it more and took advantage of what was given to them.
