Illinois State had a big gap in the personnel department, that being no PF. Two of the most highly touted PF recruits in the Valley have spent a year in Normal and will be eligible next year. Jones will come back healthy off the bench, and Lynch will be a year older. The Redbirds have the potential to make some noise.

WSU was at risk yesterday with their start, but MOST couldn't take advantage and when things didn't go right and shots didn't fall - they QUIT.

Screw you. There was no quit in the Bears yesterday. Sitting in a group of Shocker fans I heard several of them say that very thing. One even applauded when a Bear dove for a loose ball when we were down 20.

That's about as intelligent as your post about the Shox game in Springfield stating how loud Shox fans were. Anyone there would know how ridiculous that statement was.

I would not categorize MOST as quitting, but more frustrated because everything they tried just didn't work. It was more the Shockers laser focus, better talent and a coach that is locked in on his locked in players.

I saw what I saw - Evansville gave us a better game. If u want to be a big time program it starts with fan support - your fans don't support your program in STL. I have also read your comments by your fans - u are all dirtbags.

I don't think the Bears quit yesterday. It looked like from the get go MSU had short legs, but otherwise they fought. However, they just ran into a National Champion caliber buzz saw yesterday. If we play like that, if we shoot like that, I'm not sure anyone can beat us. Perhaps the best we've played all year.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

Can't deny it now - straight from the horse mouth

Austin Ruder, after a 67-42 loss at the Scottrade Center, “They’re physical. When we’ve played them, it seems like we back down a little bit. That shouldn’t happen.”

“Most definitely,” were the words from injured but still-influential sophomore point guard Marcus Marshall, when told of Ruder’s comment. “The first 10 minutes of the game, we were fighting them pretty well. Once we got behind, guys started chalking it up like we already lost.

Say what u want, I only point out the truth that even the players admitted, but it was swmo fans hoping that their player would cheap shot wsu starters and hoping wsu players got hurt - your fans are real credit to the sun belt conference.
