Illinois State had a big gap in the personnel department, that being no PF. Two of the most highly touted PF recruits in the Valley have spent a year in Normal and will be eligible next year. I would not categorize MOST as quitting, but more frustrated because everything they tried just didn't work. It was more the Shockers laser focus, better talent and a coach that is locked in on his locked in players.

I don't think the Bears quit yesterday. It looked like from the get go MSU had short legs, but otherwise they fought. However, they just ran into a National Champion caliber buzz saw yesterday. If we play like that, if we shoot like that, I'm not sure anyone can beat us. Perhaps the best we've played all year.
