How many can we lose when those schools are already buying the minimum required?

Does anyone else find Las Vegas a bit random? I mean yeah, it's Vegas, but what?

I find it random as well. If some of the schools can't sell 250 tickets for a tournament within driving distance, they damn sure aren't getting on a plane to do the same thing. I know it is Vegas and there is more to do there than St. Louis, but you can eliminate a lot of people who do drive and just go to watch the basketball. You just doubled or tripled the transportation cost for each person going.

Isn't the minimum ticket requirement just for the all-session passes? Meaning the school may or may not sell all 250 passes they are required to buy. I'd be more curious in the number of fans for the 6 IL/IN schools who attended but did not purchase all-session tickets.

Clearly the MVC is going to merge with the WCC. (sarcasm)

I don't see it moving. In this day and time obtaining and selling corporate sponsorships and advertising is no easy task. To reestablish all that revenue would be an undertaking.

I could see it in Chicago far sooner than Las Vegas.

I wonder if there are any statistics on travel to the tournament? I would think the large majority of the fans drive in. It seems to me hotel costs were more feasible last couple years, maybe I just got lucky.

Which school's fans would fly? There isn't a direct flight from Wichita to St Louis anymore and it would take almost just as long to fly than it would to drive if you have to make a connection.

what if Scott-tradecenter doesn't want the tournament because they have better options? Or maybe they want the MVC to pay to host?

The Valley is only "considering" Vegas to tease me.

I didn't ask the question clearly, as my point was no one would fly now and that would be a major change going to Las Vegas.
