Does Samford play a stifling defense?

Hey, give us some credit for holding them to 40 points. They are one of the better 3 point shooting teams in the nation. Beating a team by 18 points is a "blowout" in Creighton terms.

Good night for the MVC, but a bad night for WSU.

Seattle 59 (5-10, 1-7 on road)
at UVA 53

North Texas 75
at LSU 55

I guess the RPI will hurt with the Virginia loss. Not sure other than that how that turned into a bad night for WSU.

Pretty simple to see really. Who are the Shox best W's? What happened last night?

When it comes time to review WSU in March, there might not be a single meaningful or impressive win.

Um, pretty sure none of those wins were considered good outside of Virginia being descent before these games. Virgina who was without one player and another just off surgery (double double man mike Scott) has plenty of ACC ahead of them to remain a top 100 rpi team, which is the best you could hope for from them.

The main reason I disagree however is that this is the valley. No at large action going down around here. So to me only 2 things matter. Gaining a favorable seed for the mvc tourney and those 3 games in St.Louis.

It's the valley so just win baby.
