I know Giddy had some foul trouble last night, but you have a guy shooting 74% for the year, and 63% for his career, and he got up 2 shots in 16 minutes. Having not seen the game, I can only come up with a couple of guesses as to why. One would be that he was triple-teamed all night. The other would be that the gameplan was f#&^ing horrible. Is there a backup plan if Balentine continues to shoot 38% on 16 FGAs per game?

I can't express how pissed I'm going to be when Giddy averages 3 FGAs per game during the non-con and then they decide to get him 14 shots against WSU.

Don't worry about how many shots Giddy takes, worry about how many he makes. 1 of 14 won't mean squat, 13 of 14 might. I see no senario that the Aces beat WSU, unless Van Vleet breaks a leg, and Baker fouls out in the first half, then we might have a chance.

WSU won't lose many games this year, but someone will have bragging rights.

When the heck did we start calling him Giddy? I can't tell if I like it or I'm creeped out by it.
[Insert snappy comeback]

Braves take another step forward vs Texas A&M-CC, 52-38. Defense has come a long way, Bell has improved at the point (although his ballhandling and entry passes still leave a lot to be desired) and Morgan is Most Improved so far, showing off some great moves underneath and scoring 10 in 13 minutes. Rebounding though is still a glaring issue. Too much reaching instead of hustling and bad timing on jumps. It's embarrassing to lose the rebounding battles by double digits to these shorter teams, especially when they shoot a low percentage and give you so many opps at the defensive end. Long distance shooting has cooled off after a hot start, but you can live with inconsistency there if the defense is good. At least we've found a post presence and hopefully Sutherland is as good as advertised when he takes over for Bell at the point in a week, limiting turnovers and making everyone else better.

This year's Bradley team always had a long way to go given all the newcomers (7 in the 9 man rotation early on) and that problem was exacerbated by a rash of injuries and suspensions in this young season (including to their floor general) but if and when they get it together they could be competitive heading into conference play.

Next opponent is TCU down in Corpus Christi on Friday. They were picked 9th in the B12 but have been pounding teams and look to be in the top 25 in all major offensive statistical categories. TCU will find ways to score and it'll be interesting to see if they can keep their composure on the defensive end.

Pre-season rankings already decided that WSU will make it to the sweet 16 (just like last year right?) I can't wait for the 15-16 rankings to come out so it can decide the next season for us.

I like how you consistently go with ridiculous sarcasm because you can't make serious points to back up the point you actually want to make.

I mean, it's laughable, but at least something different.
