4:00 pm Indiana State vs. Illinois in Las Vegas. (Fox Sports 1) Just hoping to see improvement from INS in this one. Fewer turnovers, better FT and FG percentage and better defense. Illinois favored by 13.5, so it may get ugly. Just hoping we can keep it somewhat respectable.

Just watched the game via DVR. Disappointing loss again but not entirely unexpected without our best player. Some positive signs though. Tmac had a good game. Kendrix played ok and his athleticism was very evident on both ends. And Dorrian Williams had his best game of the year.

Our juco Gerring and Boone were big disappointments again.

So some guys stepped up but it wasn't enough. Ruder had an off night or the game might have had a different outcome. IMO we need to roll with Tmac at the 5 and start Kendrix at the 2 or 3 and just live with the inevitable mistakes. They just need experience.

I expected a lot more out of MoSt this year than to be in a position where losing one player derails the season.

Four years into a coach's run should result in a more balanced team.

If we can beat the spread, I'd call that a big step.

23-8, I'll post a final score, too many turnovers and one and done possessions for ISU at this point. Illinois is tall and wreaking havoc on us inside.
